Loving
Lighting is one of the most important packages in a project. It can completely make a space. Lighting, tile and plumbing fixtures are the three big areas to get right when designing a space. We are big fans of Allied Maker and I came across this exhibit from a few years ago by Chzon and it reminded me just how much we love what they do.
Weekend Visit
Took a little trip to Waco. The holiday season is in full swing and it’s been a little while since I’ve been there in December. Got to explore the new shops at the silos and bought some styling products for an upcoming project. Waited in line for the bakery to try the seasonal cupcakes, which I haven’t done in several years and stopped in at my favorite place in town Fabled – the sweetest little book store.
In My Cart
One book immediately caught my eye while perusing the bookstore: Christmas Shopaholic. It brought back the memories of the fun and light read series. I had no idea the series had so many books now.
At The Studio
Progress continues on our Far West project with the kitchen and bar remodel. The bar and kitchen were demoed this week. The bar has been primed and painted a sleek solid black and the kitchen has been prepped to start paint this coming week. Follow more progress on instagram @nueladesigns
Coming Up!
We will be styling a project this week for a client to help finish off her shelves and tables. This one is going to be so pretty when it’s finished!
We are also kicking off a new project this week and have our concept meeting for a kitchen and living room remodel. The current style of the home is Tuscan and we need to give it a refresh. Inspiration images to get the ideas flowing.
