MOOD: Terrazzo

Terrazzo – it’s fun, it’s playful! Terrazzo has gone from a composite flooring material to fashion to home goods. It’s been on an increase in popularity over the last few years. Traditionally made by exposing marble chips on the surface of concrete, it is costly and time consuming to install but now manufacturers have created tiles to get the look for less and with normal installations. If all of the color is a little too much, we recommend a tone-on-tone colorway. You get the detail and movement but in a more subtle way. We recently installed a black terrazzo tile in a little girl’s bathroom.
