Phillip Jeffries – House of Plaid
This line from Phillip Jeffries is gorgeous and totally feels like fall. Plaid in general has an all-American feel to it and is all around comforting. It’s tailored and structured and elevates a space pretty dramatically.
Loving this new tank! It’s been on my list for a while and I finally bought and wore it to my barre class. It’s loose fit tank and I love the elastic band. I have my eye on a few more colors to add to my closet.
One of my favorite designers is Kelly Wearstler and her latest book I find myself going back to over and over again. I also use this book to style console tables and bookcases.
This week saw some major visual progress! There are so many steps that go into construction that you do not get to see much visual progress. It’s all happening behind the scenes but eventually you get to all of the fun installs that we have designed with our clients and it truly is the best part of the job (aside from the very end). We had wallpaper go in for the guest bedroom. The goal was to create a fun yet funky guest retreat and this wallpaper delivers just that!
Our Northwest Hills project kicked off this week with demo of the girls bathroom. The bathroom has been demoed, plumbing and electrical rough-ins have happened as well as tiling and it is looking good! We are laying the tile in a chevron pattern in the shower and a straight lay for the vanity walls.
Seeing Gems. Gems, stones, and crystals are great objects to decorate with. They look great stacked on books or placed alone on open shelving if they are larger in scale. This is one item we have seen increase in popularity over the last couple of years.
[…] If you want a statement, go with an Animal print! They are fun and a great option to use on an accent wall or in a small space such as a powder room. We did just that for a client in her guest bedroom. […]
I have been searching high and low for a gray hex tile that size and shade of grade! Where is it from?
