This image stopped me when I saw it! This lovely space is located at the recently opened hotel el Prado in Palo Alto. I love the green tile backsplash – this is the same tile that was in our recent Spanish Oaks project’s Powder Bath. The marble detail around the coffee station and sink is beautiful and does such a nice job of framing out the space. The brass faucet and sink also pop against the deep green. The other item that makes this space for me is the gorgeous wood island! I love the traditional details. I love how open it is and how it feels more like a furniture piece for the space.
This book caught my attention immediately and reminded me of my trip to Africa a couple of years ago. Africa was never high on my list but I’m glad I went and got to experience a lot of what South Africa has to offer. One thing that caught me by surprise was the design and product offerings. We are going to dive deeper into the safari aesthetic soon!
Safari Style: Exceptional African Camps and Lodges
Installation has continued at our Spanish Oaks project. It’s looking great!
We are working on design selections for an upcoming full home remodel and addition. Loving the way it’s all coming together! Overall the spaces are neutral with certain pops of contrast, whether it’s brass fixtures or wallpaper.
We are starting phase II of our Far West remodel with the Bar and Kitchen. These spaces are going to be majorly transformed and we can’t wait for the final reveal! These are the before photos-very traditional and not the color scheme we are after in here. We are going to modernize both spaces!
