A new year has started and it’s been a busy first week! After the holidays come to a close, it’s time to get focused and set intentions for the new year and that’s just what we have done over these first few days of 2022. We are very grateful for the previous year and are incredibly excited for the upcoming one!
Loving this fun peacock wallpaper! It comes in a few different color ways but I was immediately drawn to the the plum color-it’s unique and different and we will wait for the perfect project to use this.
Also loving lately that Grimaldi’s Pizzeria (from Brooklyn) has opened up and I now get to enjoy a taste of New York here in Texas. My favorite is their margherita and their lemon arugula salad-so good!
Love these knee high boots from the J. Crew sale. The color is nude and will go with everything from jeans to dresses.
Anything Chanel is on my list. I saw this cute book at the bookstore last month and was immediately taken with the lovely illustrations inside! The illustrations are fun, whimsical and remind me of paper doll cut outs from childhood.

Over the holidays and continuing into this past week, major progress was made at our far west kitchen remodel! We had the countertop and slabs backsplashes get installed as well as the new vent hood and floating shelves in the kitchen and family room. We have some final items we are still waiting on and a small punch list to wrap up this one!
This coming week we have a design review for our Modern Italian project (you can see the concept board here).
We are also making progress at our French Modern new build project which is just about to go into framing. We have some details to work through and are finalizing specs on the fireboxes, plumbing and lighting. Ideas and direction for two rooms below!
